Union Dredgers has been awarded a project which is the supply and Installation of an intake and outfall line for a Desalination plant located in Al Ghubrah in the Sultanate of Oman.
The Scope of project:
- Supply of 4500 m of HDPE pipe with diameters of 2060 mm OD(1900 mm ID) and 1842 mm OD (1700 mm ID).
- HDPE welding with our Large 2200mm Butt Fusion Welding Machine.
- Offshore installation of pipeline including all preparation works which include Dredging works, Sinking of pipeline.
- Hydrostatic testing of Pipeline.
- A diving team to aid in the installation of the pipeline underwater.
- Supply of Passive Intake screens.
